Does the artist also need to be there at the exhibition?
Answer -
No, it is not necessary for the artist to be physically present at the exhibition. While we always encourage artists to experience the event firsthand, we understand that travel may not be convenient for everyone. Rest assured, your artwork will be showcased with the utmost care and attention, as if you were there in person.
Our dedicated team will handle the entire process, from setup to promotion. You'll receive regular updates and coverage, and we'll make sure your art gets the exposure it deserves. Should you wish to attend, it can be a fantastic networking opportunity, but your absence won’t hinder the success or presentation of your work.

What is the exact fee being charged to the artists? Are there any additional hidden costs (e g., shipping, insurance)?
Answer - so there are no hidden costs in the amount of 35k, this is the total fee including everything, the painting has to only reach us at our delhi or gurgaon address for which the artist is responsible rest we take care of everything, and post the exhibition the artist either has to collect the works from the same address in Delhi or NCR or we can help in the courier for which expenses are going to be taken care of by the artist.

Will the organizers take a commission on any sales made during the exhibition? If so, how much?
Answer - we are not charging any commission of sales happen at the exhibition.

How should payments for artwork be handled if sold and when will they be disbursed?
Answer - in case of sale at the exhibition in Dubai, the payment will be credited to us and will be disbursed post the exhibition to the artist within the month of November.

Will the artists need to arrange and pay for the shipping of their works to and from Dubai? Who is responsible for customs duties?
Answer - no the artist is not responsible to pay anything apart from a fee of 35k fee, it includes all shipping and custom duties along with safety certificates.

Will the artwork be insured during transport and while on display? Who will cover this insurance?
Answer - No insurance is not included, the artist is most welcome to get the works insured at there end.

Who is responsible for hanging the works and taking them down after the event? Are the installation costs included in the fees?
Answer - team Sagars Art Stream is responsible for installation and de installation at the venue. All costs included.

Where is the exhibition space located, and what kind of audience traffic does it attract?
Answer - The exhibition space is at All Habtoor Palace, a very premium 5 star hotel at Sheikh Zayed Road, very central Dubai, has a very niche elite walkin and crowd, the exhibitions in the past have been organized by the UNESCO as well, it comes under one of the top 5 art exhibition locations and as per the research has very good sales response in the past.

How much space will each artist be allocated? Can they choose their display locations?
Answer - Each artist is allowed maximum space of 3*3 feet. The venue at All Habtoor Palace is at first floor prime lobby area which is a common walkway to mostly all locations in the hotel, also during the peak tourist season the hotel hosts a food and shopping festival daily out side the hotel premises which will further attract more crowd apart from our online marketing and guests.
The first evening of the event we will have some special guests as well for high tea and networking for a walk through of the paintings

Duration of the Exhibition: How long will the exhibition run, and are there any opportunities for extending the duration?
Answer - it's from 7th to 10th November, 2024
The extension of the exhibition is not something planned as of now.

What kind of marketing efforts will be made to promote the exhibition and the participating artists? (e g., social media, print, PR, invitations)
Answer - We will be posting individual participation announcement posts tagging artists on our social media, we will encourage artists to make reels talking about there work and how they look forward to participate with us mentioning curators, the reels will be in collaboration. We will also run ads in Dubai on Instagram and Facebook to promote the exhibition, there are invites going to our known influencers in Dubai who shall visit along with some special artists and guests on the first day of the event as a VIP preview, rest it's open to public.
Online media articles shall be published on renowned websites about the exhibition mentioning all artists who are participating.

Audience & Buyer Outreach: Who is the target audience, and how will potential collectors be invited? Will the exhibition be open to the general public, or is it a private event?
Answer - The exhibition is open to general public for all 4 days, just that the first day of the exhibition we will keep a high tea evening and a walk through with some special guests like famous artists, art and culture personalities in Dubai.

How will the artists be represented (e g., in catalogs, signage, online platforms)?
Answer - There will be online participation posts, brochure feature of each artist with there works, banner and standees at the exhibition mentioning all artists, online reels collabs, ads on Instagram and facebook in Dubai, online media articles and name mentions in it for every artist, YouTube videos and coverage of the event by photographer.

What are the criteria for selecting participating artists? Are there restrictions on the types of artworks allowed?
Answer - We would like to quickly see the work on whatsApp with sizes which the artist wants to apply for mentioning there name and city, once we approve in some time, the next steps is to register with a payment. We are accepting paintings of all mediums, size restrictions as mentioned, either a 3*3 or 3*4 painting or 2 paintings of size 2*3 feet each.
We are not accepting sculptures, handicrafts includes embroidery, murals etc.
