Curated by Sagar’s Art Stream, the three-day exhibition celebrated paintings, photography and sculptures, featuring artists selected through a months-long curatorial process from across India.
JAIPUR, October 2026: The city’s vibrant art scene welcomed another significant showcase of contemporary creative expression with Palette Redefined 4.0, presented by Sagar’s Art Stream at Alankaar Art Gallery, Jawahar Kala Kendra (JKK), Jaipur, from 16 to 18 October 2026.
Bringing together artists working across paintings, photography and sculptures, the exhibition offered a platform for diverse artistic voices, individual perspectives and varied approaches to visual storytelling. The event reflected Sagar’s Art Stream’s continued commitment to creating curated exhibition opportunities for artists from different parts of India.
Rather than following an open-entry format, the exhibition was shaped by a selection process that extended over several months. Artists and their submissions were reviewed by the curatorial team, with the final line-up representing a considered selection of creative practitioners from across the country.
Palette Redefined has developed as an exhibition platform focused on presenting art within a professional gallery environment. The fourth edition continued that approach, bringing together different artistic practices under one exhibition concept.
Paintings, photography and sculptures contributed to the breadth of the showcase, allowing visitors to experience different interpretations of form, subject, material and visual expression. The exhibition also created opportunities for participating artists to present their work to audiences in Jaipur and engage with fellow artists and art enthusiasts.
The setting at Alankaar Art Gallery, within Jawahar Kala Kendra, provided the backdrop for this gathering of creative talent. As an established cultural venue in Jaipur, JKK offered a fitting environment for an exhibition bringing together artists from a wide geographical and creative spectrum.
A key aspect of Palette Redefined 4.0 was the curatorial process behind the final artist roster. Over several months, submissions were considered before the selected artists were confirmed for participation.
This process was central to the exhibition’s identity: the objective was to bring together a considered mix of artists and artistic practices rather than simply assemble an unrestricted collection of entries.
The resulting line-up included emerging and established creative voices, reflecting the variety of artistic approaches found across India. The selected participants represented the collective effort behind the exhibition, from submitting their work and completing the selection process to presenting their art in a shared gallery setting.
Beyond the artworks displayed, Palette Redefined 4.0 highlighted the importance of platforms that connect artists with audiences and fellow practitioners. Exhibitions can create opportunities for dialogue, encourage the exchange of ideas and bring individual artistic journeys into a wider cultural conversation.
For Sagar’s Art Stream, the exhibition was another step in its ongoing work of curating art showcases and building opportunities for artists to present their practices to new audiences.
The three-day event brought together the efforts of the participating artists and the organising and curatorial team. Each artwork contributed to the overall experience, reinforcing the idea that a collective exhibition can accommodate distinct creative identities while creating a cohesive presentation.
Sagar’s Art Stream was founded by Romendra Sagar and is led by its curatorial team, including co-founders and curators Pupul Sagar and Vikram Rawal. Through its exhibitions and artist initiatives, the organisation works to create platforms for creative expression and connect artists with wider audiences.
Palette Redefined 4.0 continued this vision through a selection-led exhibition format, professional presentation and a focus on bringing together artists working across multiple disciplines.
The exhibition also forms part of the organisation’s continuing programme of curated showcases, with the next edition, Palette Redefined 5.0, planned for Jaipur in March 2027. Applications are expected to follow a curated selection process, with participation subject to approval.
As Palette Redefined moves into its next chapter, the fourth edition stands as a celebration of the artists whose work shaped the exhibition and the collective effort required to bring a curated art showcase to life.
